Team Mobility has won at the Smart Lift & Mobility Awards 2026, in the category Excellence in Mobility Solution – Stairlift Home. The award was presented on 6 February 2026 in Bengaluru, at Smart Lift & Mobility World. Our directors and Saqueeb Reza, our National Sales Head, received it on stage.
The job that won
The award is for a curved wheelchair platform stairlift we installed in a home in Mumbai: the Ascendor PLK8, made in Austria. It carries a person seated in their wheelchair up and down stairs that turn.
It was a hard job:
- Tight space. There was very little room on the stairs and landings for the platform and its rail.
- No load on the slab. The lift could not put any load on the floor slab.
- The tightest turns. The stairs turn very tightly, and the rail follows them at the smallest turning radius.
