In a wheelchair? A lift that carries the chair up the stairs.
If your mother or father uses a wheelchair, the stairs can close off a whole floor. A platform stairlift opens it again.
About ₹8–15 lakh + GST (indicative) · 750+ installed · Award winner 2026
Every floor of your home, within reach again.
A platform stairlift carries a person seated in their wheelchair up and down the stairs. It runs on a rail along the stairs, and folds up when not in use.
The PLG7 is for straight stairs. The PLK8 is for stairs with turns. Both work indoors or outdoors. Both are made by Ascendor in Austria.

What if the power goes?
Every seated stairlift works in a power cut. It runs on batteries that charge from a normal plug point. The wheelchair platform stairlift and the platform lift work in a power cut too.
In a flat or society?
Your own stairs need no permission. Common stairs need the society’s consent, and we give you a letter for the society. Marble or granite steps are fine; we check them at the free survey.
